Tis the festive season and Christmas is here..

Christmas is a time of giving, sharing and caring.

Whilst sharing is caring, caring is giving and giving is fulfilling which leads to gratitude and voila... JOY.

The true joy of Christmas is experienced when we care for others. And as such we tend to be a better version of ourselves i.e. more warm hearted, kinder, more interested in others, more compassionate, more loving and more understanding during this time.

But it doesn`t only have to be that way during the festive season.

I am certain that we can all make a difference in some one`s life by demonstrating care for others in the little things that we do in our daily lives for example... offering a helping hand when needed, offering a smile and saying hello, please and thank you, lending a listening ear to the elderly, encouraging a young child, complimenting a friend amongst others.

Research shows that people who care are the ones that can change the world. It`s important to remember that a caring act always stands out and it has the power to create a lasting impression.

Like Maya Angelou said, I`ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

We can help make the world a better place, by cultivating a genuine interest in others.
